Google Docs will soon let you embed other apps into your documents / It’s taking on Notion, Coda, and the other apps that turn your documents into low-code websites

The @ symbol is about to become the most important feature in Google Docs. As Google continues to invest in making Workspace a more connected and powerful platform, it’s also opening Docs up to third-party developers in a big way. Going forward, all you’ll need to type is “@” and the name of a file or app you’re looking for, and you’ll be able to see and edit it from within Google Docs.

MediaTek unveiled the new Dimensity 1080 SoC yesterday, and later, Realme VP Mr. Madhav Sheth announced that Realme will launch Dimensity 1080-powered devices this year.

Sheth didn't divulge anything about these Dimensity 1080-powered Realme devices or provide any timeframe for their launch, but we expect to hear more about them soon.

The first public flight of the Chinese Xpeng X2 air car took place in Dubai. It is capable of reaching speeds of up to 130 km/h and flying on a single charge for up to 35 minutes.

The salon accommodates two people, and in case of unforeseen circumstances there are parachutes. The device is designed for a 200 kg payload, so you can take luggage with you. The air car weighs 560 kg.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2024.

Messages on behalf of channels with Premium subscription

Users have reported that accounts without an active Premium subscription can no more comment on channel posts or send messages in groups on behalf of a channel.

A close source to the Telegram development team talks about that decision this way:

“Since the introduction of this feature, it has been difficult to assess the scale of the scams made.

80% of the comments made and messages sent on behalf of channels were identified as spam. Previously, channel and group administrators suggested removing this feature entirely, but instead of that, we have limited it to those who have an active Premium subscription. Hopefully, this will reduce the spam operations that take advantage of this feature, without having to entirely drop the feature.”
