In the wake of the DOJ's release of additional Jeffrey Epstein files, correspondence between Sarah Ferguson and the late financier has surfaced that not only contradicts her claims she cut ties with him following his 2008 solicitation conviction but paints her as having warm feelings for the convicted predator.
While publicly denouncing Epstein, the former Duchess of York — who received financial help from Epstein over the years — was privately calling him a "supreme friend," "the brother I have always wished for" and a "legend" who deserved "my love [and] gratitude for your generosity and kindness." Documents reveal she also told him, "I am at your service. Just marry me."

A man in Florida was wrongly arrested last year, for no reason.
It's now been revealed that the police had tried to use a faulty "AI" facial recognition system, and used the result alone to make the arrest.
AI shouldn't be doing investigations, investigators should be.
Beyond the problem of facial recognition systems making errors in a case like this, it's also an attack on the privacy of Americans in general.

Altman compared 20 years of growth, learning, scraped knees, reltionships, and bedtime stories to the electricity bill for training a large language model, concluding that people are basically very slow, snack-powered neural networks.
