He has chastised and ridiculed the dietary supplement industry as merely snake oil salesmen who threaten public health despite the industry's excellent safety record.
While we were successful in keeping mandatory product listing off of the FDA User-Fee agreements, we can not remain idle and let Senator Durbin attempt to attach MPL to broader legislative packages.
Senator Durbin's legislation creates new regulatory barriers giving the FDA pre-market approval authority to prevent health and wellness products from reaching millions of consumers.
We need all wellness advocates to write Congress to let them know you oppose Senator Durbin's proposal for regulating dietary supplements like drugs.
