Icon got arrested in Paris

According to the French TV channel TF1, the founder and CEO of Telegram was detained on Saturday evening at Le Bourget airport. The 39-year-old businessman was accompanied by his bodyguard and a woman.

The publication claims that Durov arrived from Azerbaijan and was put on the federal wanted list. A French search warrant was allegedly issued for him, issued by OFMI (National Directorate of Judicial Police) on the basis of a preliminary investigation.

Pavel Durov is due to be presented to a judge this Saturday evening, he will be charged with a variety of crimes

Possible charges include terrorism, drugs, complicity, fraud, money laundering, concealment, pedophile content, TF1 channel reports.
