Dangers of titanism - Everyone today wants truth, to know the form and cause of the catastrophe. Yet it must be presented in an easily digestible form, a replicable piece of information. Few know that such simple materials are the carriers of total destruction.
For Pascal the most dangerous man is he who is on the cusp of truth.
This is Nietzsche at his depth, always at the cusp, always on the verge. And turning away from it. Here he gathers the hordes, the unknown herd.
The Cyropaedia, Democracy in America, the Iliad, basicaly every great work contradicts Nietzsche's views on power, nobility, and values.
Cyrus the Great shows incredible humility, and a naive education similar to Socrates. What Nietzsche describes is fallen, doomed princes.
Why do the scribblings of nietzscheans never seem to come from prisons?
"idk why Nietzsche appeals to the right. reducing all morality to power plays is intensely cynical and inspired postmodern philosophers like Foucault. I don’t know why you would want to live in a world of pitiless supermen"

Nietzsche always attacks the lowest point, which as Bloy and Schmitt point out is not warfare but neutralisation, declaration of criminality, the unhuman. We should not repeat his weakness and moralising but look to the highest.
The difficult position is where Nietzsche begins.

This is Maistre's "legitimate usurpation", a much stronger position and more difficult to attack. But this is the warrior's position, an attack where law, the very ground of wealth, is at stake.
Where did the reactionary positions go wrong? Why were the best efforts not enough?
"The real man of virtue ever swims against the waves of history."
~ Nietzsche
"Hier sitz ich, forme Menschen
Nach meinem Bilde,
Ein Geschlecht, das mir gleich sei,
Zu leiden, zu weinen,
Zu genießen und zu freuen sich,
Und dein nicht zu achten,
Wie ich!"

"Here I sit and form men
In my image,
A race that shall be like me,
To suffer, to weep,
To enjoy and to be happy—
And to pay you no mind,
Like me!"
~ Goethe

Titanic humility.
"I sing of Artemis, whose shafts are of gold, who cheers on the hounds, the pure maiden, shooter of stags, who delights in archery, own sister to Apollo with the golden sword. Over the shadowy hills and windy peaks she draws her golden bow, rejoicing in the chase, and sends out grievous shafts. The tops of the high mountains tremble and the tangled wood echoes awesomely with the outcry of beasts: earth quakes and the sea also where fishes shoal. But the goddess with a bold heart turns every way destroying the race of wild beasts: and when she is satisfied and has cheered her heart, this huntress who delights in arrows slackens her supple bow and goes to the great house of her dear brother Phoebus Apollo, to the rich land of Delphi, there to order the lovely dance of the Muses and Graces.
Actaeon is a good myth for us. With the New World man could not see Paradise, but he could stumble upon Artemis, and be turned into his own creation.
This is exactly our position today. Some are only beginning to recognise the transformation. Others know they have been devoured.
We have been taught ruthlessness. Now let us temper it.
It is significant that the will to power first appears in the Land of Cockaigne – alongside the self-carving meat. Also significant, this appearance is centuries ahead of Calvin. It is one with the will to gluttony, a result. Bruegel painted a thousand images of it at once – prominent is the man who shits on the world, and beneath him there stands Nietzsche prefigured, frying the whole herring for the roe, with a lid on his head. And yet, the herring does not fry.
What can smoke do to iron? One finds himself sitting between two stools, in the ashes.
"Mandaliet,
mandaliet,
min geselle
chǒmet niet"

How many years has it taken for me to understand what I already knew? "Mandaliet" is the infinite metamorphosis, in a word.
The war of images finds souls; the polemic, only slaves.
The only true threat to democracy is theological centrism. Failing this, spiritual survivalism.
Nietzsche's method is total mobilisation, retribution; Hamann's method is the creeping barrage, defense-in-depth.
Sir, please. Nietzsche is sleeping. Please conduct yourself in an orderly manner. Please get in line so we can address your concerns one by one. No harsh words when thinking about Nietzsche, please sir. Please, only calm tones and academic language here, sir. We don't need a will to power expressed in the face of snoring, sir. Please.

Either the will is bound up with fate and law, or it is not. In this way, it acts with divine pathos – where there is pure force there is inevitability, the gravity of what can never be chosen, and what we can never add to or take away from. Here we can only give shape to what is passing and will never return. The blood as conceived by Leonardo da Vinci was like the world river, with increased force where it was no longer constrained by the elemental traits. The later scientific image is that of standing against its current, giving the blood virtue, certainty. One must turn against the waves to act upon them. This is also how Nietzsche stands against history, against being and becoming. There is only striving, which in this case appears directionless amidst the most certain path.

Opening lines of the prayer "Anima Christi".
"Anima Christi, sanctifica me.
Corpus Christi, salva me.
Sanguis Christi, inebria me.
Aqua lateris Christi, lava me.
Passio Christi, conforta me.
"

Translation goes something like:
"Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me
Blood of Christ, inebriate me
Water from Christ's side, wash me
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
."
