Suspect human trafficking? Who do you call to report it?

Part 1 of 2:

Someone in chat (on @AbsoluteTruth1775) asked if I trusted the US government-run anti-trafficking hotlines such as the one I included in today's #31Times you saw a trafficked child but didn't know it memes .

That's a good question.

Here's my response -- and I've added more info below:

“With each meme in this series I include numbers you can call and they are mostly trusted and vetted. The only one I still have concerns about is DHS but it’s the least questionable of any gov agency IMO. Not perfect but better than others. But the other orgs are totally trusted like the ones in today’s memes. If you’re ever on a flight and see something, tell the flight attendants. They are all trained now.”

Here’s more info:

For years there was only ONE national anti-trafficking hotline in the US: the National Human Trafficking Hotline in DC operated by Polaris Project, a non-profit org that receives substantial government funding. That's where we all sent everyone to report instances of trafficking (me included).

Then 2 things happened:

Part 2 of 2:

1. Aug 9, 2018: Q drop 1830 appeared with just 3 words, all in caps--THE CLINTON FOUNDATION--and this phone number: (888) 373-7888. That's the number (still is) for the National Human Trafficking Hotline operated by Polaris Project.

2. Eight months later in April 2019 @Coreys_Digs published a pivotal well-documented paper clearly connecting Polaris Project to the Clinton Foundation: "Are Bill & Hillary Clinton Involved with Child Trafficking?"

Those of us in the anti-trafficking community (at least the aware ones) stopped referring people to that hotline and instead told them to call 911.

US gov agencies like DHS and a few others began launching their own hotlines. I still refer people to the DHS one as in today's meme. The US Marshalls also have state-by-state hotlines and those are trusted too.

And it's ALWAYS good to call 911 when you suspect someone is being trafficked. All 911 operators are trained in anti-trafficking and know what to do and how to send immediate help.

My mother passed of a heart attack. The way he fell looked … familiar.

It also isn’t good that CPR was done for 10+ minutes. That is far past the timeline for him to be okay as his brain has been deprived of oxygen for far too long.

I’m praying, but this does not look good, folks. 🙏🏻🥺🙏🏻
