Hey everyone! Since MIUI 12 Android R based builds are very limited due to space shortage on system partition, our beloved developer @MadDogRRS2 has ported a repartition based on Daisy's script that expands system partition size to 4GB, so bigger ROMs can fit.
This will take around 1-2GB of your internal space.
The recommended procedure to do this is the following:
- Boot on TWRP.
- Flash repartition file.
- Flash stock rom on FASTBOOT using MiFlash.
(You can also directly use TWRP and format data, then install a ROM).
- Boot on TWRP again, wipe everything and install your preferred ROM.
WARNING: WE WON'T TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITES FOR DAMAGED DEVICES OR THERMONUCLEAR WAR. INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK.
WARNING 2: IT FORMATS ALL OF YOUR INTERNAL STORAGE. BACKUP BEFORE APPLYING.
PS: If you want to remove repartition script, the only way is using testpoint and EDL Flashing 6X stock ROM. There are plenty of ways to do so, Google for it.
PS2: This has been tested and works doing the exact same procedure done here.

Same as above, but with 5GB in system instead of 4.

This file can also help if you want to try out some GSIs bigger than 3GB. :)

You can install customs Roms normally but you need to use a recovery to partition the system or it will only show you 3 gb :3

Okay, so MIUI R build is gonna need REPARTITION 5GB file.
