Review of today's performance, mediocre, as with the last 3 years the refusal to play any Russian compositions is just pathetic. The last good one I remember was about 4-5 years ago.

🧿 As you may know if you are an avid follower of all the Talks, as I have brought it up, I grew up in Kuwait. I got there just after the fires were put out.

This is (was?) an IMAX production, one of the original few that were filmed exclusively in the new format, I remember watching it on IMAX screens in awe when it premiered (in Kuwait). It is a great look into the ecological disaster that was allowed to occur during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.

🧿 Yet again with XF spam. This time ... the consequences of your country being bombed. Here we have everyone's favorite Serb tennis player (my sentiments about him have been outlined before) talking about how the bombing of Belgrade and Serbia left a long lasting impression.

All I can add, is that as someone who was not actually here during the NATO bombing, but watched it from afar, tuning my interpretive skills in deciphering propaganda and narratives from actual facts and reality.

Serbs who were here during the bombing suffered, but Serbs who watched helplessly for many years before the 77 days that the bombing took place, and many after, are no less affected or traumatized by their neighborhoods or cities being bombed.

Gazans, and Palestinians abroad, much like all of us non Gazans watching what is unfolding will also be scarred in many ways that may not be as obvious as those with "shell shock".
