🐳 Whales withdraw Bitcoin from exchanges. What's next?
Another signal that the bottom was reached was a change in the strategy of wallets with a balance from 1,000 to 10,000 BTC. They have started withdrawing the coins from the marketplaces, therefore, they do not plan to sell them right now.
According to Ali Martinez, about 40,000 Bitcoins have been withdrawn from exchanges. Over the week, the reserves of whale addresses increased by 30,000 BTC, and in total they accumulated 5.12 million coins. The Bitcoin exchange balance fell to 1.93 million BTC.
Whales 🐳 are now taking coins out to cold storage, reducing the risk of big movements in the coming days.
However, Martinez rules out the possibility of aggressive growth: as soon as Bitcoin hits 💵 $40,000, sales will begin.
Strong resistance is expected at 💵 $40,160. At this cost, 6.51 million addresses have purchased 3.32 million BTC and could well set up another reset.
