At 2:30 AM, Israeli special forces covertly infiltrated in an ambulance belonging to the International Red Cross to the location of the captured soldier by Al-Qassam.

The International Red Cross assisted the Israeli army by providing cover in ambulances after supplying the Israeli army with information about the prisoner's location.
