7/4/24 — No celebration until liberation! The rain appeared as we flooded of the streets for Gaza on July 4th, defying the israeli-trained NYPD’s feeble attempts to prevent us from reaching the crowds watching the fireworks.

Running through the streets as the cops tried to keep up with us, we successfully reached the fireworks, where we took over 11th Avenue and raised the Palestinian flag to uplift and honor the over 45,000 Palestinians who have been martyred in the past 9 months in the ongoing U.S.-israeli genocide.

Our message is clear: The genocidal US imperialist empire, built through the ethnic cleansing of indigenous people, should not be celebrated. Especially while actively funding israel’s genocidal campaign on Gaza.
