Tonight at the Gaza Solidarity Encampment at Columbia University‼️ The students' energy is high as they remain steadfast for the third night in a row 🇵🇸

Hundreds upon hundreds of Columbia students, faculty, staff, and community members, representing a historic convergence of youth and elders from across our movements, have taken the west lawn. Out of it has sprung a fierce, beautiful display of life and community. We are chanting, singing, teaching, watching, praying, reading, debating, and breaking bread.

On night 3 and beyond, we are here to stay. Columbia will divest from Zionism. We will accept nothing less! ✊🏽

It is the 7th month of the genocide in Gaza and NYU has remained silent as its academic colleagues are murdered. Every university in Gaza has been bombed but NYU still refuses to implement an academic boycott of Israel. Students will not move until NYU ends its support of the violence against the Palestinian people. Students will not move from the encampment until NYU fully divests from Israel, implements a full academic boycott of the “state,” grants amnesty to its pro-Palestinian students and gets the racist IOF-trained NYPD off campus.
