Despite having arrested tens of student organizers and disposing of their belongings in bins, including perishables and technology, students remain, and have now occupied the opposite lawn.
We encourage our people to join, stay, and hold this space as a community. Comrades also remain outside the gates protesting in solidarity.

The operation to attack Columbia students and destroy the Gaza Solidarity Encampment was called on by the first Arab president of the University, Manoushe Shafik, in coordination with the Cop mayor of NYC, Eric Adams, overseen by the first Latino commissioner of the NYPD, Edward Caban, alongside Deputy Commissioner Kaz Daughtry, Chief of Patrol (and killer cop) John Chell, and Manhattan North Assistant Chief Ruel Stephenson (the four of which are photographed). All to attack a diverse coalition of students standing against genocide in Palestine.

Columbiaβs shameful decision to suspend + arrest their own students for demanding an end to complicity in the genocide of Gaza has majorly backfired. You can kick them off your lawn but you canβt ban us all from the public streets!

Imagine this: the chief π· himself distances the NYPD from the arbitrary decision-making process that led to the arrest of dozens of student protesters. What does this say about Minouche Shafik and the Columbia administration? That they are willing enemies of truth and justice and know exactly what they are doing.
But we persist! Join us! π΅πΈ
