The U.S. July seasonally adjusted CPI month-on-month came in at 0.2%, in line with the forecast of 0.20%, compared to the previous reading of 0.30%. The July unadjusted CPI year-on-year was 2.7%, below the expected 2.8% and the same as the previous 2.7%. The core CPI year-on-year reached a five-month high, exceeding market expectations.
