The Joe Biden administration today sent two notifications to Congress about two proposals for the sale of defense equipment for Argentina, F-16 fighter planes from Denmark and P3-C from Norway, it would be financed by the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency, it's worth noting that both planes have hardware from the UK which would fall under the defense sanctions the UK has on Argentina.

The country hopes for a positive decision on admission to the association
Venezuela has applied to join BRICS and hopes for a positive decision to join this association. This was announced on Monday by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in the author's program of the Venezolana de Television channel "With Maduro +".
"Venezuela has sent a proposal to join BRICS, we hope that this proposal will be considered positively," the president pointed out. "We expect a positive response from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa for Venezuela to sooner or later become a member of BRICS," he said.
"BRICS plays a leading role in building a new world and opens a dynamic path to a multipolar world," Maduro stressed.
It is expected that the BRICS summit, which will be held in Johannesburg on August 22-24, will consider official applications submitted by some countries to join the BRICS.

Venezuelan oil exports exceeded 877 thousand barrels per day in July
Venezuelan oil exports stood at an average of 877,032 barrels of oil per day (bpd) during the month of July, which represented 22% more production than in June 2023.
According to Reuters, Venezuela's crude shipments rose to their highest level in three and a half years.
Most of the exports were directed towards the Asian continent; Chevron also increased crude oil exports to the United States to around 160,000 bpd in July. In addition, the Italian company Eni last month shipped around 60,000 bpd of Venezuelan oil for refining at Repsol's facilities in Spain.
