The Argentine federal Justice opened an investigation into the human rights violations committed by the Nicolás Maduro regime.

The case was opened by federal prosecutor Carlos Stornelli after the complaint filed last month by the Clooney Foundation in the courts of Comodoro Py, based on the principle of universal jurisdiction.
