Cilia Flores' defense says she urgently needs an electrocardiogram
During the second hearing of Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores in the Federal Court of the Southern District of New York, Flores' lawyer, Mark Donnelly, told Judge Alvin Hellerstein that his client has a heart problem and needs treatment.
"She suffers from a health condition related to the mitral valve that has already been identified. She urgently needs an electrocardiogram, and she requires it as soon as possible," Donnelly stated.
In this regard, Judge Hellerstein told the lawyer to initiate the process for Flores to undergo the examination and to inform him if they had any problems.
