🛢 🇻🇪 ⚡️ Venezuela's largest refinery out of service after power blackout, sources say

Feb 9 (Reuters) - Venezuela's largest refinery, the 645,000-barrel-per-day Amuay, was taken out of service on Monday following a power blackout, four sources close to the facility's operations said

Electricity outages hitting state oil company PDVSA's facilities are frequent, which leads to refinery operations well below their installed capacity. Amuay was processing some 137,000 bpd before the incident, one of the sources said.

Clippve from El Helicoide:

Families maintain their faith and prayers intact at the gates of El Helicoide. Today marks 31 days of a relentless vigil; a month where spiritual hope is the only refuge against the wait.

It's important to remember that prolonging releases is a violation of human rights. Maintaining this state of uncertainty not only infringes on personal freedom, but also directly threatens the mental health of family members, subjecting them to unnecessary and cruel emotional exhaustion.

The families' stance is firm: the vigil outside the detention center will not cease until all their loved ones are home.

⚠️ Relatives of political prisoners confronted Jorge Arreaza (Chávez's son-in-law) and Pedro Infante outside the chavista National Assembly and demanded the immediate approval of an Amnesty Law that covers all political prisoners and those persecuted by their dictatorship.
⚠️🇻🇪🇺🇸 Trump will meet again with the military personnel who participated in the capture of Maduro.
🇻🇪 According to a report by Epoch Times, Hugo “El Pollo” Carvajal, former head of military intelligence for the Chavista regime, was accepted as a witness by the United States justice system and began to open the so-called “black box” of the Venezuelan regime, providing key information on corruption, drug trafficking and criminal links in the highest spheres of power.

In front of the Chavista National Assembly building today, January 10, a united group of family members, friends, and human rights defenders raised their voices to demand that the Amnesty Law be an instrument of true justice.

The message is clear: they will not accept a measure that discriminates against victims. They advocate for a law that is inclusive and that guarantees the absolute freedom of all those detained for political reasons in Venezuela.

After years of injustice, torture, and family separations, the cry in the streets is singular: that the benefit reach every single one of those currently behind bars for thinking differently.
