Six international airlines resume flights to Venezuela between February and March

At least six international airlines will resume their flights to Venezuela between this February and March, EFE was told by the president of the Venezuelan Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (Avavit), Vicky Herrera.

⚡️🇻🇪Reuters: Venezuela’s ruling United Socialist Party is facing mounting internal strain and weakening grassroots support, driven by distrust, desertions and shrinking state handouts.

The data from door-to-door support canvas of in Maracaibo showed that half of the party members no longer support the party.

Party officials also report that attendance at party events has fallen by 70%, alongside traditional patronage systems such as food parcels and payments faltering in several states.

Foro Penal confirms 30 releases from prison: Perkins Rocha, Dignora Hernández and María Oropeza on the list

In the early hours of the morning, Ramón Guanipa, son of the Zuliano leader Juan Pablo Guanipa, confirmed that his father was released. A few hours later, he posted a video on social media with his first words in freedom:

"Here we are, being released, there's much to talk about the present and future of Venezuela," he said.

In the afternoon, social media was filled with videos of releases from prison and reunions with their families of several members of the Vente Venezuela team:

Among them are Perkins Rocha, a lawyer and legal representative of the organization, close to María Corina Machado. Also Dignora Hernández, Henry Alviares, arrested on March 20, 2024, María Oropeza, on August 7, 2024 and Catalina Ramos, on May 26, 2025.

Names that resonated for their imprisonments in 2025 also came out of prison this Sunday, such as Jesús Armas, Luis Palocz, Luis Tarbay.

Other leaders of the Nobel Peace Prize winner's party were released: Albany Colmenares and Nikoll Arteaga. In addition, activists like Naomi Arnaudez, Luis Somaza, Aldo Roso, Nancy Camacaro, Diliangela Guedez, and Professor Robert Franco and Ángel Luna were confirmed as released on February 8th.

Cuban authorities have notified the airlines operating in the country that the island will run out of aviation fuel in the next 24 hours.
