María Corina Machado affirmed that she is prepared to facilitate a real transition to democracy, not one towards the Russians.

"We are willing, and in fact we are working to facilitate a real transition. This is not a transition to the Russians, where the mafias remain in power and in the end the citizens end up suffering.

We are going to work, as we have worked so far, ensuring that the institutions that guarantee justice, truth, sovereignty, the reunion of Venezuelans, everything we can do to favour the transition, not the stability of a sector of the regime in power.
