This Monday, through his official Telegram channel, the Venezuelan Defense Minister wrote a message to the population in which he reiterated the "national unity" in what he described as "a week full of complexities following the military aggression" and the "kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and the First Lady, Deputy Cilia Flores".
While mentioning his commitment to the Acting President, Delcy Rodríguez, he revealed that he is going through the most difficult moments trying to "avoid a bloodshed among Venezuelans and the division of the FANB".
"Intrigue does not help peace today; sectarianism does not help peace today; and sterile polarization does not help peace," he stated.
