Switzerland advises its citizens not to travel to Venezuela due to "very high tensions"
The Swiss government generally advises against any travel to Venezuela, whether for tourism or any non-urgent reason, and specifically notes that visiting certain parts of the country is risky.
These regions include the border with Colombia, as well as with Brazil, in addition to the Orinoco Mining Arc regions, and the north and east of the state of Sucre.
"Social and political tensions are very high, the situation's evolution is uncertain," it explains, after recalling that certain air connections are not guaranteed and that airports could close temporarily.

🇺🇸🇻🇪🇮🇷 Iran criticizes U.S. intimidation towards Venezuela
Iran rejected the "intimidating attitude" of the United States towards Venezuela amid rising tensions in the Caribbean, where Washington maintains a strong military deployment. In a call with Yván Gil, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi also questioned U.S. unilateralism and recent measures against Maduro's government.
The Iranian stance comes after U.S. attacks on alleged drug-running boats and the designation of the Cartel of the Suns as a terrorist group. Tehran and Caracas, historic allies under international sanctions, have strengthened their cooperation with agreements signed in recent years.

🌐🇺🇸The french private intelligence firm Intelligence Online delves into the widening division between Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe, a rift sharpened by their differing approaches to the situation in Venezuela.
Gabbard is skeptical of Ratcliffe’s assessment—based on his agency’s ground sources—that the Chavista counterinsurgency apparatus would be constrained by its reliance on state support.
She, for her part, maintains that U.S. policy toward Venezuela should pursue a long-term strategy that avoids militaristic escalation.
This disagreement could carry significant implications, not only for U.S.–Venezuela relations but also for the broader manner in which the United States engages with other international crises. At a time of rising geopolitical tensions, the stances adopted by various actors within the U.S. government may have a lasting impact on the country’s foreign policy.

Admin comment: So Ratcliffe's argument goes with how is perceived the whole 'civilian-military sinergy' the regime claims. We all know those chavistas going to the militia to take pictures with rifles without even being able to do some squats. And besides they are there just to receive food and bonifications.
What would happen IF the whole logistics of those benefits they receive get compromised? Nothing good for them at least.🤷🏻♂️
