🇺🇸🇻🇪🇮🇷 Iran criticizes U.S. intimidation towards Venezuela

Iran rejected the "intimidating attitude" of the United States towards Venezuela amid rising tensions in the Caribbean, where Washington maintains a strong military deployment. In a call with Yván Gil, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi also questioned U.S. unilateralism and recent measures against Maduro's government.

The Iranian stance comes after U.S. attacks on alleged drug-running boats and the designation of the Cartel of the Suns as a terrorist group. Tehran and Caracas, historic allies under international sanctions, have strengthened their cooperation with agreements signed in recent years.
