A group of experts warned the United States Senate about Hezbollah's expansion in Latin America, highlighting its growing activity in Venezuela since Nicolás Maduro came to power. Former Treasury Undersecretary Marshall Billingslea stated that the group established a paramilitary training center on Margarita Island and obtained Venezuelan passports through the Passport Agency.
Billingslea affirmed that "the extent and depth of Hezbollah's presence in Venezuela drastically expanded" under Maduro's government. Other specialists also alerted about the group's presence in Colombia and the current lack of cooperation with the United States to combat its influence.

🇻🇪✝ A tragic air accident was reported in San Cristóbal, Táchira state. A fixed-wing aircraft, registration YV1443, crashed and caught fire at the Paramillo Airport facilities around 9:52 AM.
According to reports, the plane was attempting to take off when it allegedly suffered a mechanical failure that caused the collision.
Unfortunately, two occupants did not survive the accident and were burned.
