🇻🇪🇺🇸 Exodus of Venezuelan migrants affects the real estate market in Doral, Florida

The departure of migrants, mostly Venezuelans, has raised the apartment vacancy rate in Doral to 6.5%, above the 4.3% average in neighboring municipalities, according to The Wall Street Journal. In some buildings, the figure exceeds 10%, the highest level in three years.

Real estate agents attribute the decline to residents fleeing for fear of being detained following immigration changes promoted by the Donald Trump administration. In Doral, where about 40% of the population has Venezuelan roots, rents have started to drop due to the increase in vacant properties.
Daniel Noboa, was the target of "criminal attacks" in the province of Imbabura, where protests against him are taking place.

According to the Government, these attacks on the caravan, which was transporting food, essential products, and fuel for the population affected by the protests in that northern province of Ecuador, were carried out by "infiltrated violent groups."

Noboa himself referred to the incident through his account on X, stating that it occurred in Otavalo. "They responded to us with violence," he wrote.

After meeting with Rubio, Trinidad and Tobago's Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar said in a statement that she had secured U.S. support for the development of the country's cross-border hydrocarbon resources.

🇺🇸🇻🇪 Department of State: "We want Maduro to be brought to justice"

In the midst of a U.S. military operation in the Caribbean, the Department of State labeled Nicolás Maduro as a "fugitive" from U.S. justice and warned about the danger he represents to the region.

"Maduro is not the legitimate leader of Venezuela, he is a fugitive from U.S. justice who undermines regional security and poisons Americans," said the Deputy Spokesperson of the Department of State, Tommy Pigott, in a conversation with NTN24.

He added: "We want him to be brought to justice. The United States is carrying out a specific operation against drug cartels."

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that after attacking several Venezuelan drug boats in the Caribbean, his country will now "very seriously" monitor drugs entering by land, amid escalating tensions with Caracas, which he accuses of leading a drug trafficking network.
