🇺🇸🇻🇪 White House spokesperson on Maduro's letter to Trump:

"We have read the letter. It contains many lies, the administration's position does not change, Maduro's regime is illegitimate, the president will use all means to stop the Venezuelan regime's drug trafficking in the United States."
🇻🇪🇺🇳 Machado and Edmundo González before the UN: "We are ready to take the reins of a new government"

Leader María Corina Machado and former presidential candidate Edmundo González Urrutia sent a message to the UN General Assembly in which they requested international support for "popular sovereignty" and an "orderly and peaceful democratic transition" in Venezuela. In a video shared on X, they stated: "The Venezuelan people are now very close to achieving their goals."

Machado, in hiding since January, demanded the dismantling of Nicolás Maduro's government and the prosecution of those who violate human rights. Meanwhile, González, granted asylum in Spain, defended the US military deployment in the Caribbean as "a necessary measure" to combat drug trafficking and "restore popular sovereignty."
🇵🇷 Governor of Puerto Rico on Maduro: "I would turn him in and claim the $50 million reward"

The governor of Puerto Rico, Jenniffer González, declared this Monday that if she had Nicolás Maduro in front of her, she would hand him over to US federal agencies to claim the $50 million reward Washington offers for his capture.

In an interview with WKAQ 580, González described the official leader as "leader of the Venezuela cartel" and "gangster who uses violence as a means of expression and to instill fear."

Tensions between Caracas and Washington have intensified after the sinking of four boats linked to drug trafficking near Venezuelan coasts and the recent letter sent by Maduro to Trump, which the White House called a "list of lies."
🇺🇸 Maduro confirms that Trump did not respond to his letter: "The important thing is to defend the truth"

Nicolás Maduro stated that he has not received a response from Donald Trump to the letter sent to the White House on September 6, in which he proposed mediation regarding the military deployment in the Caribbean. "It doesn't matter, the important thing is to defend the truth of your country by all means," he said on his program.

The president said he will continue sending more letters and revealed that he attached UN maps about drug trafficking routes.
🇺🇸🇻🇪 Trump threatens Maduro's Government before the UN:

We have begun to use the supreme power of the United States military to destroy Maduro's Govs.

To any terrorist thugs smuggling toxic drugs into the United States of America, we warn you that we will completely eliminate you.

I have designated multiple savage drug cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations, along with two vicious transnational gangs.

Chavista militia men training AK-103
🇻🇪🇺🇲 Vladimir Padrino López criticized Trump for mocking the training of the Chavista militias

The Minister of Defense of Nicolás Maduro's government, Vladimir Padrino López, responded this Tuesday to the mockery by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, about the training of the Chavista militias.

During an event on Bolívar Avenue in Caracas, Padrino López described Trump's attitude as an act of “supremacism.”

“When yesterday we see yet another buffoonery, a mockery, mockery is an act of little human value, mockery is contempt for others, it is supremacism, mockery is racism. (…) They see the rest of the world as if we were slaves, as if we were savages, they see the rest of the world in a tiny way,” he declared.

The general also accused the United States of “imperial hegemonism” and of using its technology and military equipment to intimidate peoples. He also pointed out that in the Caribbean, U.S. forces “have taken it upon themselves to be executing fishermen, men and women, whether or not they commit offenses, instead of taking them to judicial prosecution, as international law indicates.”
🇻🇪🇦🇷 Urruchurtu: "Maduro is the head of a cartel and at the same time the illegitimate head of a state" Pedro Urruchurtu, coordinator of International Affairs for the Venezuelan Command, referred to the United States military operations in the Caribbean and asserted that drug trafficking had never been seen in power in the region.

He argued that Nicolás Maduro is not only the head of a cartel but also the illegitimate head of a regime that the democratic world does not recognize.

"Maduro is the head of a cartel and at the same time the illegitimate head of a state that no one recognizes. We have never seen drug trafficking in power in the region, not even recently," Urruchurtu said in an interview with La Nación of Argentina.
