ICC Victims' Defense Office demanded that Karim Khan speed up the investigation into Venezuela
The Public Office for the Defense of Victims (OPCV) of the International Criminal Court (ICC) expressed on Friday its growing concern over the lack of progress in the investigation into crimes against humanity committed in Venezuela.
“There is concern among victims and their families regarding the Prosecutor's commitment to addressing serious ongoing crimes and ensuring that the investigation remains responsive to new developments in Venezuela,” the court said in a letter to the ICC Appeals Chamber.

Borrell said that for now the EU is not "on the table" to recognize Edmundo González
"The last time we talked about this at the Foreign Affairs Council, which is where I carry out my work and my role, there was not a great enthusiasm for the recognition like the one the US has just done now," Borrell said.
"In any case, each country is responsible for this decision. It is not a community decision. Each country will make it and naturally the position taken by the countries that are most directly linked to Venezuela will be very important," he said.

Maduro: TikTok and all social media must be regulated
A group of Venezuelans in Bilbao, Spain, managed to veto the consul of Nicolás Maduro and sister of Diosdado Cabello, Glenna del Valle Cabello, and withdraw an invitation to participate in a forum on migration and co-development supported by various organizations in the Basque Country.
"We consider this action to be disrespectful to the more than 8 million Venezuelan migrants and refugees in the world and especially to the nearly 600,000 who live in Spain. She is a representative of the dictatorship of Nicolás Maduro, responsible for the largest exodus in recent years," the statement said.
