People have started sending malicious zips again in the form of boot animations or some ROM zips that will brick your device.

Be aware of what you flash on your device. @zihusr4 is one of the people sending a Pixel boot animation zip and a PixelExperience zip that will brick your device. Stick to flashing ROMs/ZIPs from people you know.

Additionally, make sure to also verify that the message is coming from the right person as last time they tried impersonating known developers and sent ZIPs to people.
