Mass circumcision ceremonies in South Africa have left more than 43 teenage boys dead and dozens more mutilated.

Twice a year, the ceremonies known as 'Ulwaluko' are carried out with the intention of 'preparing young men for manhood'.

Increasingly the cuts are performed by unskilled men with zero anesthetics being used.

Colin Wright, the leader of Reform UK in Wokingham, has praised a Cinema being converted into a new Islamic Centre for study and worship.

Wright said:

"Hopefully it's going to bring more people into the town and have a knock on effect on businesses in Wokingham.

It's an eyesore. It's been derelict for years.

It would be good to see the site back in use.

Nobody I know will have any issues with it at all."
