Two Syrian migrants have today been jailed for raping an 'intoxicated' girl after meeting her at a nightclub in a Cheshire town.
Refugee Dilgash Adil, 32, plied the 18-year-old with drink until she was 'falling down' drunk, a court heard.
After carrying out a sex assault he 'invited' his friend, asylum seeker Diyar Mohammed Abdulsalm, 28, to also rape the teenager, Chester Crown Court heard.
The young woman kept blacking out during the sex attack after she travelled back with the men to Abdulsalm’s accommodation in a house of multiple occupancy (HMO) in Winsford, Cheshire, on December 21, 2025.
Both men claimed the woman consented to sex and denied rape but were convicted after a trial ending last month.
Adil, who was a shepherd in his native Syria before the civil war and was granted refugee status after coming to the UK in 2020, was convicted of one count of rape.

A man who rammed his car into a teenage boy riding a stolen bike that he was using to attack people with has been jailed for 17 years for murder.
Terrence King drove into 15-year-old Devon Simmonds-Caines on Rowrah Crescent in Middleton, Greater Manchester on 22 July last year.
The court heard Simmonds-Caines had stolen the £3,000 e-bike from another boy on the Langley Estate before he was pursued by King, who steered his vehicle into him.
King, 60, who was found guilty after a two-week trial, was handed a life sentence with a minimum term of 17-years at Minshull Street Crown Court earlier.
He had pleaded guilty to manslaughter but denied murder at the outset of the trial.
