BBC Presenter Scott Mills was questioned by police under caution in 2016 over serious sexual offences towards a teenage boy.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson has said:

“In December 2016, the Met began an investigation following a referral from another police force. The investigation related to allegations of serious sexual offences against a teenage boy.

A full file of evidence was submitted to the Crown Prosecution Service, who determined the evidential threshold had not been met to bring charges.

An Indian migrant who raped a customer while he was working as an Uber Eats delivery driver will serve just 3 years and 8 months in prison.

Jitendrakumar Prajapati, 47, delivered food to the young woman's home in Boston, Lincolnshire, at around lunchtime on January 14.

Prajapati later returned to the property at 5pm where he raped the victim before texting her to say 'sorry' after carrying out the harrowing sexual assault.

An 'aspiring rapper' who owned an XL bully that mauled a grandmother has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Ashley Warren, 41, was found guilty of owning or being in charge of two XL bully dogs that killed Esther Martin, 68, in Jaywick, Essex, on 3 February 2024.

Warren also pleaded guilty to two additional charges of owning a dangerous dog at Chelmsford Crown Court on Tuesday.
