As I announced on the memes channel, my Ulven account @AlgorithmWolf was permanently lost. I have contacted support, but they are unresponsive and I assume the account will be deleted when the inactivity timer expires. I know it is not deleted, but I am unable to access it.

I do not have other accounts at the moment, so if anyone contacts you claiming to be Ulven, it is an impostor.

I am thinking about my next steps.

The only reason I can post to this channel and the memes channel is because I created a Telegram bot, to which I gave permission to write, in case things went wrong. However, I cannot add, ban, remove users, change the information, or do anything other than post messages.

If you run a group that still has my @AlgorithmWolf account, I recommend banning and deleting it from the group, because it is possible someone else could gain access to my account and compromise the group if I had admin privileges, or send spam with it.

I may not come back, but if I do, I have to recreate every single channel and group that I own, so we'll see.

It is frustrating how Telegram can force log out every single device from your account, with no recourse, and if you lost the original phone number it was registered with, it is not possible to log back in.

This happened after I tried to send a NYT link via PM to a person I had been talking to for a while.

This is what happened, when I sent the link inside this pastebin, my account got logged off from every single device I have.

To be clear, the pastebin link I shared is not the problem. The problem is the link inside this pastebin. It's a NYT article with a bunch of tracking garbage, and I think that tripped the anti spam system

I will stop posting memes for a while.

I also recommend deleting PMs from both ends because it is possible whoever logs into my account would leak private messages.

Expect to see me coming back around the end of October / beginning of November on a new Telegram account. I will publish the new username here.

This all came at a really unfortunate point in my life when I have been extraordinarily busy, that is why it took me so long, which on the other hand has been quite positive as it allowed me to focus away from the hundred Telegram groups I was in.

I should clarify these channels are lost permanently due to the way Telegram handles groups and channels. All groups and channels are lost permanently save for the ones I have appointed admins to: they can ban and kick but not appoint additional admins or change the ownership of these.

So I will have to recreate all my groups and chats. I know it's a hassle, I'll let you know when I'm done and share the links here and on my new channels and groups.

I am considering creating a new memes channel. It really didn't seem like a good way to spend my time and frankly I don't really care about subscriber count. I already mentioned in the past that I would have deleted it if it became larger than 1000 subscribers.

I thought I'd be creating the new Ulven account today but there has been an issue which means it will be delayed again. I expect two more weeks. Maybe more. I will return when I can get those new SIMs. I am not going to sign up to a VoIP number because then I have this problem all over again.
