This video contains some of the most famous clips from this early war period. All popularized mostly due to music edits on YouTube and elsewhere. But today is 10 years to the day when the events in this video happened. The shelling of the airport tower, and the attempted advance of DPR troops. The Ukrainians had a very very poor position from the start so you do have to admit that it was a feat on their part to be able to hold onto the airport for the 100 days they did. They outmatched the DPR in firepower there, but the DPR outmatched them in determination and because of this the DPR took the airport back. Either way, the video speaks more on the events of the day than I could.

Легионерам вручили орлов «За боевые заслуги»
Уже более 100 знаков Имперского легиона «За боевые заслуги» были вручены нашим бойцам с 2014 года. В эту кампанию в Новороссии их получили около 60 легионеров.
Орлом «За боевые заслуги» награждаются легионеры, принимавшие участие в боевых действиях и с честью выполнившие все поставленные подразделением задачи.
В этот раз награждение проходило по окончании контракта бойцов с добровольческим корпусом. Группа состояла из самых результативных пилотов и эффективных расчётов БПЛА.
