Elon Musk is getting a bruise appeared in the media when he was last in the White House.

Musk got into a fight with Finance Minister Scott Bessent, who called the businessman a fraud. After that, they allegedly exchanged a couple of blows.

I don't know if this is true or not, but Bessent and Musk have long disliked each other. Bessent did not hide that he considered Musk a scoundrel, and Musk was ironic about the fact that the American minister was “playing for another team.”

The fact is that Trump's treasury secretary is gay, it is often mentioned in the American press.

The past few months under President Donald Trump have been nothing if not operatic — all the more so when China gets involved. So why not reimagine it for the stage?

“Trump, The Twins President,” which just wrapped up three days of performances in the Chinese territory of Hong Kong, marries traditional Cantonese opera with a parody of modern political events, mostly involving Trump.

Though the opera satirizes a range of political figures from China, the U.S. and elsewhere, the star of the show is Trump, who shimmied across the stage in a blond wig and eyebrows, blue suit and red tie to the delight of sold-out audiences at a 1,000-seat theater at the Xiqu Centre, a performing arts venue for Cantonese opera and Chinese traditional theater.

The 3 1/2-hour show began in 2019 but has been updated to reflect current events, most recently Trump’s attempted assassination at a rally in Pennsylvania last summer and his heated Oval Office exchange with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in February.

The show was peppered with other up-to-the-minute references, including Trump’s derision of Canada as the “51st state,” his assault on Harvard and his turbulent relationship with tech billionaire Elon Musk.

As if to illustrate the relentless pace of news in the new Trump administration, the latest version of the show debuted Thursday as the real-life Trump held a highly anticipated call with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The show — which begins with an appearance by an actor playing Trump’s daughter Ivanka — is based on a dream she has in which Trump has a fictional twin brother in China, Chuan Pu, whose name is a transliteration of Trump’s name in Chinese.

It traces the history of U.S.-China relations starting in 1972, when President Richard Nixon made his historic visit to Beijing that paved the way for the two countries to establish diplomatic relations. But in this version, a young Donald Trump was also in China as Nixon met with Mao Zedong and Premier Zhou Enlai.

Chuan Pu, disillusioned by the Chinese Cultural Revolution, makes his way to the U.S., where Trump is now president, hosting world leaders such as North Korea’s Kim Jong Un.

At the White House, Ivanka Trump asks Chuan Pu to pose as her father at a rally in Pennsylvania because Trump has been kidnapped by aliens from Mars.

At that fateful rally, it is Chuan Pu, not Trump, who survives an assassination attempt as a bullet whizzes past his ear — although the rally ends quite differently than it did in real life.

The show concludes with Trump getting into a fistfight with Zelenskyy after a shouting match over the Ukrainian leader’s outfit, with the two taking turns knocking each other to the ground.

🔥 Investors on betting markets are having a field day with the fiery break-up between President Donald Trump and former “first buddy” Elon Musk.

📈 The trending page on the Polymarket, which famously beat pollsters in projecting Trump’s 2024 win, is teeming with bets about the feud.

🤔 Will Trump and Musk reconcile in the next week? Will Trump be impeached? Will the president throw the world’s richest man behind bars?

📉 Ultimately, Polymarket investors aren’t buying the most dramatic ends to the quarrel.

🔒 The odds of Trump jailing his former adviser are only 4 percent. And the chances that Trump ends up being impeached this year are at 11 percent.

📊 On Kalshi, another similar prediction market, investors think there’s an 18 percent chance that Trump could sue Musk and a 5 percent chance that the U.S. could ban X, Musk’s social media platform.

But investors aren’t bullish on a quick reconciliation, either.

🙅‍♂️ On Polymarket, there’s just a 2 percent chance that Trump will apologize to Musk by Monday, and a 17 percent chance that they settle their differences by next Friday.

🗣 Trump said on Friday that he has no intention of speaking to Musk anytime soon — and themarkets believe him. The Polymarket odds that the men meet this month are 19 percent.

📞 Kalshi is more optimistic, predicting that there’s a 55 percent chance that Musk and Trump talk on the phone before July.

💣 When the feud erupted Thursday, one of the biggest bombshells was dropped by Musk when he alleged that Trump was in the “Epstein files.” He claimed that Trump’s ties to the sex-offender financier were why government documents about Jeffrey Epstein had not been released.

🧾 Several of the Polymarket bets addressed the allegation. And investors don’t believe we will get any new information on Trump’s relationship with the pedophile anytime soon.

📂 There was a 5 percent chance that the files Musk alleged exist would reach the public in June and an equally low chance that evidence of Trump visiting Epstein’s notorious island would emerge.

🔍 Kalshi, however, predicted a 42 percent chance that some new Epstein files are released this year—whether they feature Trump or not.

“The Quest”

- “Your posting says there’s a quest,” the Half-Elf began, “But it doesn't say what it entails. Could you elaborate?”
- “It's rather simple”, the Burgermeister shrugged, “Do you see that hill over there? A goblin with a grenade launcher sits on it, and periodically shells the city. That's actually the crux of the problem.”
- “Yeah, I see. So we need to kill this goblin…”
- “No no no, not at all,” the mayor exclaimed, “We can't kill him under any circumstances!”
- “Why?” the Dwarf asked, surprised, “It's a goblin!”
- “Exactly! If we kill him, the world community will brand it a genocide and call us racists.”
- “So what? Let them say whatever they want.”
- “And then they’ll deploy troops," the Burgermeister finished gloomily.
- “Hmm…” the Half-Elf thought, “So this asshole shoots at you, and you just put up with it and refuse to shoot back?”
- “We wouldn’t dare,” the Burgermeister spread his hands, “Or we'll be branded aggressors.”
- “Well, okay, what if, let's say, we don't kill this goblin, but drive him away?”
- “From his hill? Impossible. They’ll call us occupiers if we do”
- “Catch him and take away his grenade launcher?”
- “Expropriators.”
- “Lock him up along with his grenade launcher?.. Okay, okay, don't answer that,” the Half-Elf spoke quickly as the Burgermeister opened his mouth, “I get the idea. A challenging quest, this is”
- “Well, what do you want from us then?” the Princess exclaimed, “we can't kill, can't disarm him, can't catch him or chase him away either. What else is there? Re-educate? This is not our purview.”
- “No, not at all... We’d hire a psychologist for such a task. But then the world community would accuse us of exerting psychological pressure.”
- “And of desecrating traditions,” - added the Dwarf sagely, “Shooting a grenade launcher at people is sacred for goblins!”
- “It is!” the Burgermeister exclaimed happily, “You get it!”
- “Well, what are you asking us to do then?” the Princess asked again.
- “Take the parcel,” sighed the Burgermeister.
- “To whom? The Goblin?”
- “Well, yes. After all, there are no food supplies on the hill. In an hour, the goblin will start getting hungry, he’ll declare a truce and will want to negotiate. He does that every day! He demands that he be brought food, wine, weapons, sometimes a couple of other things… And then, when he’s full and satisfied, he declares that the peace negotiations have reached a dead end and that he is forced to resume fire. The world community sympathizes with him very much. They think he's principled.”
- “And if you refuse to give him food and weapons…”
- “Then they'll say we are…”
- “Okay, okay, we get it," the Half-Elf interrupted.
-”…and then they'll deploy troops,” the Burgermeister finished quietly.
- “Well, okay, why do you need us for that? You could send one of your own to carry the parcel.”
- “Oh we tried. None came back.”
- “Did the goblin kill them all?”
- “He claims he didn’t.”
- “Ah…”
- “And the world believes him.”
- “Ah…”
- “And then they say that we’re provoking him. You see, they say it's HIM, the goblin, who shows initiative, it's HIS gesture of goodwill. And if something goes wrong, they blame it on us, of course… But you... Well, since you’re outsiders, he might decide not to harm you.”
- “Okay then,” the Half-Elf summed up, “Ignoring the politics of it all, all we have to do is take the parcel from the customer and deliver it to the client, right? A simple postal-service quest. And the rest is your problem. Correct?”
- “That's right,” the Burgermeister confirmed, “So, do you accept the quest?”
- “We do,” the Half-Elf nodded.
The Burgermeister breathed a sigh of relief.
- “Can I ask you a question?” the Princess raised her hand, “You are so worried that the world community will call you aggressors, or militarists, or something worse… What do they call you now?”
- “Idiots” the mayor replied forlornly.

During protests in Los Angeles, a police officer shot a reporter from Australia with a rubber bullet

Australian 9News journalist Lauren Tomasi was reporting from the streets of Los Angeles when one of the police officers pointed a gun at her and fired a rubber bullet. It is specified that the incident occurred the day before, on June 8.

The film crew promptly left the scene after shooting the journalist. The very next day, Lauren Tomasi returned to the air and said that everything was fine with her.

In Los Angeles, protests against the migration policy of Donald Trump continue for the third day. The reason for the protests was the raids of the ICE immigration service, during which more than 100 people were detained.

The Supreme Court handed the Trump administration two victories Friday in cases involving the Department of Government Efficiency, including giving it access to Social Security systems containing personal data on millions of Americans.

The justices also separately reined in orders seeking transparency at DOGE, the team once led by billionaire Elon Musk.

The court’s conservative majority sided with the Trump administration in the first Supreme Court appeals involving DOGE. The three liberal justices dissented in both cases.

The DOGE victories come amid a messy breakup between the president and the world’s richest man that started shortly after Musk’s departure from the White House and has included threats to cut government contracts and a call for the president to be impeached. The future of DOGE’s work isn’t clear without Musk at the helm, but both men have previously said that it will continue its efforts.

In one case, the high court halted an order from a judge in Maryland that has restricted the team’s access to the Social Security Administration under federal privacy laws.

Gavin Newsom, the Democratic Governor of California, has again suggested he’ll sue President Donald Trump for calling the National Guard into the state.

He first suggested he’d sue the president yesterday, when he said the state would file a lawsuit Monday against what he described as an “illegal, immoral and unconstitutional” deployment of the National Guard.

This morning in a post on social media, the governor said Trump “flamed the fires and illegally acted to federalize the National Guard,” when he signed a presidential memorandum on Saturday activating the officers.

“The order he signed doesn’t just apply to CA. It will allow him to go into ANY STATE and do the same thing. We’re suing him,”

he wrote in a post on X.

A new poll shows that President Donald Trump's approval rating has fallen after his public feud with Elon Musk over the spending bill he is trying to push through Congress.

Trump's approval rating is now at 47 percent, according to the latest Daily Mail tracking poll conducted with J.L. Partners.

It is down three points from May when Trump was at 50 percent approval.

In the latest poll 53 percent said they disapprove of the president's job performance.

The poll included 1,006 registered voters questioned on June 6, and had a 3.1 percent margin of error.

Musk is also now less popular with all Americans as 56 percent have an unfavorable view of the eccentric billionaire.

Just 34 percent of those polled view Musk favorably with 10 percent undecided.

Despite Trump's ugly blowup last week with Musk, a plurality of Americans remain supportive of the president over the founder of Tesla.

The poll found 31 percent say they support Trump while just 23 percent side with Musk in the feud, and 46 percent were unsure.

The majority of Republicans, 59 percent, side with Trump, while just 12 percent side with Musk. Twenty-eight percent of Republicans remain unsure.

Twenty-six percent of unaffiliated Americans also support Trump, with 20 percent siding with Musk.

A plurality of Democrats now side with Musk, with 35 percent now backing him rather than just ten percent who support Trump.

The majority of Democrats and unaffiliated Americans, each at 54 percent, are also uncertain about who to side with, suggesting room for each figure to grow their support.

Despite Musk's threat on Thursday to create a new political third-party, there is still minimal support among American voters for the idea.

Just four percent of voters signal support for a Musk party while 42 percent support a Democratic candidate and 35 percent support Republicans.

After hardcore Trump supporters publicly called for Musk to get deported, just 30 percent of Americans support the idea while 35 percent of opposed.
