Trump again said that Canada is "considering" a proposal to become the 51st state.🇨🇦

The president wrote in Truth Social that Canada can get free access to the American Golden Dome missile defense system if it agrees to become part of the United States. Otherwise, it will cost the neighboring country of the United States $61 billion.

The day before, King Charles III made a speech in the country's parliament. His entire trip, and this speech in particular, is a signal to Donald Trump that the United Kingdom supports Canadian independence.

Golden Dome is a $175 billion satellite missile defense project. The US promises to put the system into operation in three years." According to Trump, Canada itself has asked for the inclusion of Russia in the program. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney's office confirmed negotiations on security and new agreements with the United States.

Tech billionaire Elon Musk is prompting questions about his next steps as he signals he might wind down his political activity.

Last week, the Tesla CEO said he’s planning to scale back his spending after injecting hundreds of millions of dollars into the 2024 election, a big potential blow for GOP campaign coffers moving forward.

The announcement comes as Musk also cools his involvement in the Trump White House to turn more attention to his businesses — even as voices on both sides of the aisle are skeptical that the megadonor will make a full exit from politics.

“Anytime the biggest donor says he’s going to pull back, that’s a concern for the party,”

GOP strategist Alex Conant said.

“These megadonors, you have to earn their support every cycle. The party can’t and doesn’t take them for granted. He says he’s planning to pull back, but if we have a presidential nominee in ‘28 that excites Musk, you could see him doubling down.”

Gaza does like Trump.

And the fact is that the distribution of humanitarian aid is now going through the Americans.

Whoever distributes food in the area controls the area.

We learned from very weak sources, that Trump was preparing a secret agreement with Hamas to bypass Israel.

He is about to partially recognize Hamas in exchange for its refusal to obey Iran. In short, Trump is going to privatize Hamas and run it himself.

🖥Musk said on X he hoped the DOGE mission would only “strengthen over time” and become a “way of life in the government” as he announced his stepping back from the cost-cutting agency created under the Trump administration.

South Africa-born billionaire Elon Musk announced overnight on Thursday he has left his role as a top adviser to US President Donald Trump after some five months at the helm of the newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

In a post on his platform X, Musk thanked the US president for the chance to lead DOGE, an initiative Trump authorised through an executive order on his first day in office.

"As my scheduled time as a Special Government Employee comes to an end, I would like to thank President Donald Trump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful spending,"

Musk wrote on X.

"The DOGE mission will only strengthen over time as it becomes a way of life throughout the government,"

he added.

The single most important prop sustaining the US economy today is the global power of the dollar.

America’s relative prosperity (which until recently was dubbed ‘US exceptionalism’) rests far more on the role of its currency than on its tech companies, abundant resources or famed entrepreneurial spirit. Because the dollar is accepted as world money, when the American state and its corporations spend or borrow abroad, foreigners have been willing buyers. This has enabled a seemingly endless flow of cheap money to support the economy at home.

Today, however, this special benefit is looking increasingly vulnerable. And the greatest threat to the dollar’s status doesn’t come from Russia or China or even Europe, but from the US government’s own actions.

The US government borrows money by selling bonds called ‘treasuries’, mainly to banks, pension funds and foreign governments. In return, it pays them interest – called the ‘yield’. If investors start selling off existing bonds, their prices drop and yields go up. To attract new buyers, the government then has to raise the interest rate on newly issued bonds.

The court banned Trump from introducing duties. Stock markets are cheering, the president himself is furious

🤑The US Federal Court has lifted almost all trade duties imposed by Donald Trump. The judge ruled that the president did not have the authority to impose "unlimited surcharges on goods from virtually any country," citing the 1977 emergency law. Such a right, as the court explained, belongs exclusively to Congress.

Financial markets reacted instantly. The US Dow Jones index went up, the price of oil rose by more than a dollar, and the German DAX added 0.5%.

"Stock markets are celebrating Donald Trump's defeat in the U.S. trade court," said analyst Thomas Altman of QC Partners.

According to analysts, this decision reduced the level of economic uncertainty that frightened investors.

Trump adviser Stephen Miller accused the judges of a "legal coup." According to him, the US judicial system is "out of control".

U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. met with Argentine President Javier Milei on Tuesday at the Casa Rosada, where both leaders reaffirmed plans to withdraw their nations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and build a new international health framework.

The meeting brought together two strong-willed political outsiders. Milei, a libertarian economist known for cutting government spending, and Kennedy, a Trump-appointed health chief skeptical of pandemic-era mandates. Both promised to challenge what they call global overreach and politicized health policy.

Argentina officially confirmed its exit from the WHO during Kennedy’s visit, following Milei’s initial announcement in February. The move aligns with President Trump’s revived pledge to pull the U.S. out of the WHO as part of his "Make America Healthy Again" (MAHA) agenda.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) told Breitbart News that the Government Accountability Agency (GAO) is part of the “deep state resistance” that is frustrating President Donald Trump’s agenda, comparable to the “far-left” judges that have stopped “legal deportations.”

“The GAO is part of the Deep State resistance trying to stop the will of 77 million Americans who voted for President Trump,”

Greene told Breitbart News in a written statement.
“They are no different than far-left extremism in the judiciary that is trying to stop legal deportations.”

Greene spoke to Breitbart News as the GAO issued guidance that Senate Republicans could repeal a waiver allowing California to issue its own emissions standards, and thus could not pass a resolution through the chamber using a simple majority.

The move frustrated many Republicans in both chambers of Congress, and even in the Trump administration.

“The GAO has no authority,”

Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso (R-WY) said.

Trump's secretary cites Fictional research to "make America Healthy again"
✏️✏️✏️✏️

U.S. Secretary of Health Robert F. Smith Kennedy Jr. is a well-known vaccine opponent and conspiracy theorist. He has repeatedly surprised the public, and again-this time by referring to non-existent scientific research in a government report.

Last week, this report on chronic diseases in children and adolescents was published by the Ministry itself. As the AFP news agency found out, 4% of links lead to research on children's health, which is not available. In total, the report contains 7 dubious sources, according to the Notus portal.

The Make America Healthy Again report concludes that chronic diseases in children and adolescents are primarily caused by processed foods and supplements, environmental toxins, and lack of physical activity. In addition, the danger allegedly coming from vaccination is mentioned.

Scholar Guohua Li from Columbia University, he said that the quote attributed to him in the report is "completely made up". Epidemiologist Catherine Keyes also said that she did not write the article mentioned in the ministerial report. Where the data attributed to her might have come from, she doesn't know. Some links, including an article in the scientific journal Jama, lead nowhere, according to AFP.

Trump's Democratic opponents criticized the report as "full of misinformation." The Ministry of Health, they say, is trying to "justify its political priorities" with the help of fake research.

🚲⚖️🇺🇸 Donald Trump's customs war was prevented by a women's bicycle clothing store

On May 28, a US federal court overturned most of the customs duties imposed by President Trump. The lawsuit was filed by five entrepreneurs: a manufacturer of musical instruments 🎸, a pipe manufacturer 🛠, a seller of fishing gear 🎣, a liquor dealer 🍾, and Terry Cycling, a women's cycling clothing store 🚴‍♀️👚. All of them complained that due to the tariffs, the cost of essential imported goods rose significantly 📈.

The plaintiffs were supported by 12 U.S. states 🗺.

A New York court ruled in favor of the plaintiffs and ordered the removal of general duties on all imports, stating that Trump exceeded his authority. According to the U.S. Constitution 📜, only Congress can fully regulate foreign trade 🏛. The government now has 10 days to prepare for the cancellation of these duties .

🟡 Important to note: This ruling applies only to general tariffs. Duties on specific goods — like cars 🚗, steel 🏗, aluminum 🧱, and semiconductors 💾 from the EU 🇪🇺remain in force.

The Trump administration has already filed an appeal 🔁. The case may go all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court 🏛⚖️. It’s possible that the appellate court could side with the White House and restore the tariffs 🔄. Trump may also try to reimpose similar duties under different legal justifications.

🚨👮‍♂️ U.S. Capitol Police Chief J. Thomas Manger, who is set to retire from the force on Friday, slammed President Donald Trump for pardoning rioters convicted or facing charges for their role in the deadly Jan. 6, 2021, attack.

“It was, I think, a slap in the face to every police officer that was here,” Manger told CBS News’ Scott MacFarlane in an interview shared Wednesday.

🪖 Manger was initially pulled out of retirement to take the agency’s top post after his predecessor, former U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund, stepped down in the wake of the deadly riot.

📝 Trump’s Jan. 6 pardons on his first day in office included:
Hundreds of supporters convicted of assaulting officers
Roughly 1,000 nonviolent offenders
Around 200 people accused of assaulting police with pending cases

🔁 A number of those pardoned have since been rearrested.
😔 Manger told MacFarlane that the day Trump issued the pardons was “probably one of my worst days in this job.”

“I think it sent a chilling message to every police officer in this country,” he said of the pardons.

“That you can be involved in some massive public disorder event and that you could have a politician later on decide that, well, I liked what this other — this side was doing, so we’re going to pardon all these people.”
🧢 He also hit back at conspiracy theories tied to the riot, some of which have been peddled by right-wing media figures and Republican lawmakers alike.

Wall Street investors have spotted one of president Donald Trump's tendencies and have started betting against him.

They've even come up with a derogatory term – "TACO," and acronym for "Trump Always Chickens Out" – for the president's erratic handling of his on-again, off-again tariffs, because they've noticed his tendency to announce punishing duties that send markets into the tank, only to back off a short time later and goose the market, reported HuffPost.

"The recent rally has a lot to do with markets realizing that the U.S. administration does not have a very high tolerance for market and economic pressure, and will be quick to back off when tariffs cause pain,"

wrote Financial Times commentator Robert Armstrong, who is credited with coining the term earlier this month.
"This is the Taco theory: Trump Always Chickens Out."

“Under no previous presidency did we have active markets betting on the president’s resolve,”

said University of Michigan economist Justin Wolfers.
“There was no BACO trade, no CACO trade – nothing. It was always taken as a given that when the president spoke on Monday, he would likely still mean it on Tuesday. That’s no longer true. But what’s really hard is that it’s not even obvious when it’ll be true, and when it won’t be. Madness.”

RFK Jr. Floats Ban On Federal Scientists Publishing In Medical Journals

"They're all corrupt," Kennedy claimed of publications like The Lancet, the New England Journal of Medicine and JAMA.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Wednesday he’s planning to ban government scientists from publishing in established medical journals, which are some of the most important ways doctors spread knowledge and advance patient care.

Kennedy made the comments on the “Ultimate Human” podcast to host Gary Brecka, a fellow vaccine skeptic and anti-fluoride conspiracy theorist.

Kennedy claimed that the “medical cartel” has “transformed” the NIH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services into “sock puppets” for the pharmaceutical industry.

His remarks were made a week after the White House released a Kennedy-spearheaded report saying prescribed pharmaceuticals could be to blame for chronic disease in children.

Seeking a pardon from President Donald Trump has become big business for lobbying and consulting firms close to the administration, with wealthy hopefuls willing to spend millions of dollars for help getting their case in front of the right people.

“From a lobbying perspective, pardons have gotten profitable,”

said one lobbyist whose firm has received such calls.

There’s no set rate for pardon help. But two people directly familiar with proposals to lobbying firms said they knew of a client’s offer of $5 million to help get a case to Trump. These people, like others, were granted anonymity to speak candidly. And while such high numbers do not seem to be standard, they speak to a burgeoning pardon economy.

A $5 million figure is higher than numbers The New York Times reported Trump allies receiving for pardon help in his first term. In 2021, the outlet reported that Brett Tolman, a former federal prosecutor who advised the White House on pardons, was receiving five-figure amounts for the work, according to filings and a client. The Times also reported that John Kiriakou, a former CIA officer convicted of disclosing classified information, was told that former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a Trump ally, could help secure him a pardon for $2 million; Giuliani disputed that account.

Cozying up to a president’s allies or hiring lobbyists to gain access to clemency isn’t new. But along with the price spike, what’s different now is that Trump is issuing pardons on a rolling basis — rather than most coming at the end of the administration.

“It’s like the Wild West,”

a Trump ally and lobbyist said.
“You can basically charge whatever you want.”

The increased use of the pardon power has some familiar with the process concerned about the appearance of financial and political favoritism that can erode confidence in the clemency process.

“This is very destructive to our justice system. It delegitimizes the pardon power,”

said Elizabeth Oyer, who served as pardon attorney for the Department of Justice during President Joe Biden’s administration.
“It entrenches a two-tier system of justice in which wealth really can be a get-out-of-jail-free card.”

“All pardon and commutation decisions are solely made by President Trump, who is always willing to give well-deserving Americans a second chance — especially those who have been unfairly targeted by a corrupt justice system,”

White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers said.

Since Trump took office in January, he has pardoned or granted executive clemency to more than 1,500 people, most related to the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. It’s a significant uptick from a similar time frame during his first term in office. Even without the Jan. 6 defendants, Trump has pardoned 58 people; in his previous administration, Trump had pardoned just one person in his first year.

In the past week alone, Trump has pardoned or commuted the sentences of 27 people.

Golden Dome missile defense program won’t be operational by end of Trump’s term

Exclusive: Pentagon officials expect a space-based weapon to be ready only for a demonstration by 2028

Donald Trump’s so-called Golden Dome missile defense program which will feature space-based weapons to intercept strikes against the US – is not expected to be ready before the end of his term, despite his prediction that it would be completed within the next three years.

In the Oval Office last week, when he announced that the US space force would oversee the project under Gen Michael Guetlein, the president said he was confident that it would be “fully operational” before he left office.

But the implementation plan for the Golden Dome produced by the Pentagon, as described by two people familiar with the matter, envisions having the defense weapons being ready only for a demonstration and under perfect conditions by the end of 2028.

As Elon Musk became one of Donald J. Trump’s closest allies last year, leading raucous rallies and donating about $275 million to help him win the presidency, he was also using drugs far more intensely than previously known, according to people familiar with his activities.

Mr. Musk’s drug consumption went well beyond occasional use. He told people he was taking so much ketamine, a powerful anesthetic, that it was affecting his bladder, a known effect of chronic use. He took Ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms. And he traveled with a daily medication box that held about 20 pills, including ones with the markings of the stimulant Adderall, according to a photo of the box and people who have seen it.

It is unclear whether Mr. Musk, 53, was taking drugs when he became a fixture at the White House this year and was handed the power to slash the federal bureaucracy. But he has exhibited erratic behavior, insulting cabinet members, gesturing like a Nazi and garbling his answers in a staged interview.

At the same time, Mr. Musk’s family life has grown increasingly tumultuous as he has negotiated overlapping romantic relationships and private legal battles involving his growing brood of children, according to documents and interviews.
