Grassfed Brisket:
5-6 lbs brisket 🐄
5 potatoes 🥔
5 carrots 🥕 🐇
Salt/Pepper/Garlic/Thyme

Bake COVERED in cast iron @ 275 degrees for 4 hours. Do not let the lid pop open or it can turn tough.

PRO-TIP 1/2:
Put potatoes and carrots low to soak up juices

2/2:
Add a little brown sugar and paprika if you want a more “BBQ” dry rub flavor.

Starting to work through all these apples today. Getting some applesauce going to can and will let some go overnight in the crock pot to make apple butter. The other half of bushel I will make some apple pie filling, dehydrate some, and leave some for snacking and use in other recipes. Saving all the apple cores to make apple cider vinegar!
