Wars in Christianity, Orthodoxy to be specific I believe, wars are a necessary sin that must happen - followed by 40 days of repentance, I admit I don't remember clearly, but I think that was it, because clearly there must be a way to fight physical evil.

In Islam, there are 2 types of wars that are allowed, offensive Jihad and defensive Jihad.

Defensive Jihad, is obviously in the name, it's defensive, The Afghan war during the times of the British, Soviets, and Americans can be considered defensive Jihad.

Offensive Jihad is Abit tricky, God allowed offensive jihad (in order to break the superiority of evil that's on this world)

You could, theoretically, call the Russo-Ukrainian war an Offensive Jihad, that's what Ramzan Kadyrov called it, and if you remove the religious labeling, it fits right in - Russia launched a full scale assault to get rid of the superiority of evil, in this case Zelensky and his backers.

Overall, we should not look forward for war, but we should make sure to only leave it as a last solution, and when it shit comes to shove, we better be ready for it.

Good morning Mr. De Gaulle. Thank you for being with us today in the Franco-Russian dialogue. You are consulting in corporate strategy and finance, you have 15 years of experience in private banks and it is probably useless to recall the achievements of your grandfather General de Gaulle. It is 2022 and it is an unprecedented and very very complex year, difficult for Franco-Russian relations. It is in a way an anti-Russian year, I would say, not to mention politics.

Good morning Madam. I thank you for your welcome and for giving me the opportunity to express myself in this house of culture that celebrates everything that unites the French people and the Russian people through culture.
Of course I think it is extremely important for France to maintain and preserve, to promote a relationship of understanding and cooperation with Russia first of all through the historical ties of the community of destinies that unites us and also because preserving and maintaining a relationship with Russia is the guarantee of stability and prosperity in Europe and in the world and that unfortunately the consequences suffered by the current crisis are reflected in Europe in that it greatly weakens this balance that my grandfather has always tried to preserve, even at the most difficult times in history and throughout the Cold War, but also from the Second World War. Russia being one of the countries in the camp of winners with France against the Nazi occupier, my grandfather has always tried to preserve this relationship with Russia always, always.
And I think it is in France's interest to continue this policy and to continue this balance because it is essential to the stability of Europe. Mrs. Merkel, saying that she had never seen the intention of applying the Minsk agreements did everything to let NATO arm Ukraine, did everything to lay the foundations of this conflict and I think it's serious because there are millions of people suffering from it.
