Getting into the top 1000 isn’t hard. My fighters aren’t that strong, and I still made it to the top 300 last season.

Builds
I checked the top 10 fighters from one of the final weeks of the last season and made an image showing the most used passives. Based on that, this seems to be one of the most optimal builds:

Quick Hands
I Am Rage
Raise Shields

Of course, getting all of them is nearly impossible — there are tons of possible builds. But from what I’ve seen, the most effective approach is to go for passives that focus on defense, regeneration, and rage.

Important: weapons, pets, and perks also play a role, but I didn’t factor them in for now. My current strategy is to burn all fighters who don’t get 4 epics across the 7 slots, and then check who’s worth keeping based on their passives.

The total value of all gifts from this sale is $8,625,000. New multi-million gift sales are happening, but the total market cap of gifts isn’t increasing. This means money is just moving back and forth between collections, and despite thousands of new users daily, collections keep getting dumped.
The strongest performers are still the oldest gifts, while the weakest right now is the Snoop collection — almost all are trading below their ⭐️ purchase price (except the dogs). If the total mcap doesn’t grow, it will just keep getting spread thinner across more and more new gifts. Prices are rising, supplies are increasing, and there’s no one to buy them back.
That said, I still think you can grab at least a couple of Xs from the pre-market once upgrades are released. And I wouldn’t rule out some pumps — it would be awkward if the first gifts under the new sales system end up with no buyers on the secondary market.
