There can be many reasons, but one thing is clear — that's about regulation.

Telegram and Ton can look to start expanding to the US market. For sure everything in US is highly KYC'd. That's a good news in long-term for the whole ecosystem, because more money will go to Ton and Telegram. And bad news for everyone who will not pass KYC, especially Russians and Iranians.

That also can be the thing about Durov's upcoming court in France. Maybe his lawyers told that's an important thing to do. If this step will raise chances that Durov becomes free — that's a step for existence of the whole Telegram in the shape we know it today. As a reminder — Durov still can't move anywhere from France.

And one more thing. KYC is not a thing which companies like to implement in their products. That's a thing which gives barrier between company and user. And it is done only because governments want to regulate everything. There was serious reasons to implement KYC for Fragment. Let's see, maybe Telegram will give us some official explanations about this.

Also Major start to explain a future utility of token — from renting anonymous numbers (without fragment's KYC) to business cards based on Major tokens. Well, that can be nice. Many of TON tokens doesn't have utility at all.

⭐ 20 minutes until OKX call auction for Major token starts and 1:20 until the listing of the token

OKX's call auction is an interesting thing. They allow users to fill up stock market with their requests to buy or sell. And the price which will appear there will be the price of the listing. That is the most accurate source to know which price we will see at the listing and other exchanges follow this too. Premarket prices are less accurate.

💡 With listing price we can calculate one of the most important value of Token, Market Cap

And comparing one app to anothers from the same niche we can choose where price can go in future. That's not exact thing at all, there are many different criteria which affect price of token. But that's a fundamental starting point to research any token.

Notcoin's NOT — $874m
Dogs' DOGS — $373m
Hamster's HMSTR — $243m
Catizen's CATI — $160m
Cats' CATS — $21m

Now we need to calculate market cap of MAJOR. There will be 90% of tokens in market (9% locked for 2 years for the team and 1% gifted tokens was self-locked by Durov).

Total supply is 100 million tokens, we bring 90% of it, so there will be 90m tokens in market. Starting price at the listing will be $1.9. 90x1.9=171m

So starting market cap can be something about $171 millions. Now we need to think about utility of token comparing it with other similar projects, think about future development, team, partnerships, support. And after that you can approximately choose do you want to sell tokens or do you want to hold them.

If at your opinion market cap is overvalued — sell. If you need money for living now — sell.
If at your opinion market cap is undervalued — hold. If you believe the team will make good future movements, token will have a good utility — hold.

It's not about Major only. That's how I research what to hold and what to not. Market conditions matter a lot too, for sure.
