I mean it's flippant and it's very simplistic but there is a bit of truth in it at least.

One thing it's just made me think about just now is how irrationally jealous women can be about a bloke they're with (husband, boyfriend etc.) going out of their way or going to any trouble for someone other than them, and how they can fixate on it endlessly.

I've seen it quite a bit and I've experienced it a bit now and again. Very spiteful and unpleasant trait that seems to be quite common in women.

Obviously I've aged and I've been getting my hair permed for nigh on ten years now (mainly so it'd "naturally" be the sort of shaggy mop I was trying and failing to make it as far back as here and before, with literally about five different products and 45 minutes spent pissing around with it any time I went anywhere), but the main difference that stands out to me is how much bigger my nose looked before I started growing my beard a bit.
