๐ง๐ด Utensils and Tools as Mirrors of Relationship
Iโve noticed something about myself and the people around me.
At first, I was the ๐ด forkโpoking, testing.
Then I was trained to be the ๐ฅ spoonโfeeding, nurturing, even when I was empty.
Eventually, I grew tired of being fork and spoon, so I chose to become the ๐ช knifeโsharp, cuttingโready to face my surroundings.
Looking back, I see: I was living among knives without knowing I was the spoon, which is why I kept experiencing pain. After I had enough, I became the knife ๐๐ซฃmyself. Now I choose when to be spoon, when to be knife. But everyone around me kept wanting me to be the fork๐ฎโ๐จโbecause thatโs what they chose to be toward me. Iโve only seen ๐ and met with wrenche, hammer, scissors, screwdriver, knife and fork, never spoon, except toward those they choose to be spoon with. ๐
And it doesnโt stop at utensils. Some people are like ๐จ hammers, always pounding. Some are โ๏ธ scissors, cutting things apart. Some are ๐ง wrenches or ๐ช screwdrivers, always trying to fix me.
๐ Functions of Each Tool (and Relationship Archetype)
๐ช Knife: Cuts, sharp words, clarity or harm. Can wound or reveal truth.
๐ฅ Spoon: Feeds, nurtures, comforts. Can nourish or suffocate if boundaries are ignored.
๐ด Fork: Pokes, tests, irritates. Can help pick things apart or leave small wounds.
๐จ Hammer: Pounds, forces, dominates. Can build or break depending on how itโs used.
๐ง Wrench: Twists, tightens, adjusts. Can repair or control, depending on intent.
๐ช Screwdriver: Fixes, turns, directs. Can help align or make us feel โworked on.โ
โ๏ธ Scissors: Cuts, separates, divides. Can free us or sever connection.
๐ฑ Reflection
๐งIf you were a utensil or tool in your relationships, which one would you be?
๐งHow do you notice when someone is feeding, cutting, pounding, fixing, or poking you?
๐งWhat role do you choose for yourself, and how do you protect that choice when others try to assign you a different role?

๐ฟ What Are We Obsessed WithโAnd Where Does It Lead Us?
Iโve often wondered about the things people obsess over. ๐ Iโve seen some who fixate on pointing out flawsโcriticizing clothes, mistakes, or speaking behind othersโ backs. Over time, I noticed how this habit weighed on them: unhappiness, stress, anxiety, even health issues. Their obsession seemed to drain joy from their lives. ๐
Watching this made me pause. I asked myself: Is this the path I want to follow? My answer was no. ๐ ๐ฝโโ๏ธ Instead, I chose a different obsessionโone of selfโcorrection, reflection, and healing. ๐ฑโจ
When I see something I donโt understand, I stay curious instead of judgmental. ๐ค When I feel fear or anger, I sit in silence and reflect before responding.
๐ When harsh words come my way, I remind myself:
I am responsible for how I react. Each choice I make becomes another chance to grow. ๐ธ
This practice has brought me peace, lightness, and freedom from fear. ๐ Even when challenges land like bombs, I remind myself: I can try again, and I can do better next time.
So my obsession is not with othersโ flaws, but with my own growth. ๐ช๐ฝ And that obsession has led me to a life of calm, resilience, and joy. ๐
โจ Now Iโd love to hear from you: what is your obsession, and how has it affected your emotions, mental state, or physical health? ๐ญ

Effect of Hatred on You:
Once a kinder garden teacher had decided to let her class play a game. She told each child in her class to bring along a plastic bag containing few potatoes.
She asked children that each potato will represent the person that child hates. So the number of potatoes to be kept in that plastic bag depends on the number of person that child hates.
So when the decided day came, she asked children to bring those potatoes which represent the persons they hate. Teacher noticed that some had 2 potatoes in that plastic bag and some had 3 and some had 5 potatoes in that plastic bag.
Now, she told them that they have to carry that plastic bag with them for a week, wherever they go. After 3-4 days passed children started to complain because of the unpleasant smell that was coming from rotten potato.
Beside, those kids who had 5 potatoes had to carry heavier bags. After one week all children were relieved because the game was finally ended.
Now at week end teacher asked children, โHow did you feel while carrying these potatoes with you for one week?โ
Children started complaining about the trouble they had to got through because of those rotten potatoes and their unpleasant smell, wherever they go.
Now after all complaining and discussion at last teacher asked all children to sit silent and told them the hidden meaning behind the game.
Teacher said, โThis is exactly the situation when you carry hatred for somebody inside your heart. This stench of hatred will contaminate purity of your heart and you will carry it with you wherever you go.โ
Teacher continued, โNow think for second, if you can not tolerate the unpleasant smell of rotten potatoes for just a week, can you imagine what it would be like to live with stench of hatred in your heart for lifetime??โ
Moral: Hatred of someone will be a Burden to your Heart to Carry for Lifetime. Negativity about someone will keep peace of your own mind and heart away from you. Therefore, Forgiving others is Best attitude to Live a Peaceful and Happy Life.

"I am doing okay" doesn't mean life is perfect. It means I still have days when I feel empty inside, but I manage to fill my mind with positive thoughts to overcome it. It means sadness is still around the corner waiting for me to let my guard down again, but whether I let it embrace me once more, I will have my ways of getting through it. It means there are still instances when I feel so messed up, but I tend to pause, these days, for a while, breathe, and rearrange things inside my head. It means I am happy, but it doesn't mean I no longer have such lonesome nightsโI just learnt how to face it properly.
I am doing okay. I hope you are, too.

โจOne man was happy all his life...
He smiled and laughed all the time, no one ever saw him sad. There were times when people would ask him different questions about it:
- Why are you never sad? How do you always manage to be happy? What is the secret of your happiness?
To which the man would usually reply:
- I was once as sad as you. Suddenly, it hit me: this is MY choice, MY life! And I make that choice - every day, every hour, every minute. And since then, every time I wake up, I ask myself:
- Well, ๐ค what will I choose today: sadness or happiness?

Find your way out of your head. Find your peace. People can point out the way for you but you yourself must strive. Words can comfort you, therapy may guide you, but nobody will fight your battles for you.
You have to keep battling these demons in your mind, these powerful negative voices echoing repeatedly trying to trap you back in this vicious cycle of torment!
They won't ever stop tormenting you until they destroy you. They know exactly how to get to you; they know you better than you know yourself.
Recognize their voice and don't let them win!!
