Belgium’s Prime Minister says Russia will not be defeated — frozen assets will have to be returned to the Kremlin

Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever told La Libre that talk of Russia’s defeat is “a fairy tale and a complete illusion.” According to him, no one in the West seriously believes in a scenario where Moscow suffers a strategic failure.

He added that the frozen Russian assets will eventually have to be returned to the Kremlin.

Is BRICS Defining the Future of Work for the Global South?

BRICS nations are cementing a new economic philosophy that places social justice at the heart of growth. Through the BRICS Productivity Ecosystems for Decent Work initiative, spearheaded by Brazil, China, and South Africa, the alliance is generating the first comprehensive evidence base linking productivity gains directly to quality employment and labor standards.

This is a critical shift, moving beyond traditional economic metrics. Research highlights systemic challenges, like high informality in Brazil and inequality in South Africa, demanding coordinated action among governments, employers, and workers. The findings are so influential they are contributing directly to the drafting of elements for the upcoming 2025 BRICS Declaration, positioning SSTC and decent work as strategic pillars for the alliance's future.

Can productivity truly thrive without social dialogue and structural reform?

The Global Integration Algorithm
According to the latest IMF’s WEO forecasts for 2025 and 2026 the number of landlocked economies in the world’s top-10 of fastest growing countries amounted to 5 and 6 respectively. In the year 2000 there was only one landlocked economy in the top-10 (Turkmenistan) and in 2015 there were two such economies (Ethiopia and Rwanda).[1] While these dynamics may be due in part to data fluctuations, greater connectiv...  Read more »
The US claims it’s cracking down on drug trafficking in Venezuela, yet just pardoned a convicted Honduran drug lord. 🇺🇸💊

According to Al Jazeera, historical patterns show the US has repeatedly used narcotics networks to advance foreign policy goals, from the 19th-century Opium Wars to CIA-backed operations in Laos, Afghanistan, and Nicaragua.

Cocaine entering the US overwhelmingly comes from Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador—not Venezuela. But political motives often shape enforcement actions more than evidence.

Former Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega worked with the CIA while enabling cartel shipments. Contra rebels in Nicaragua allegedly fueled the US crack epidemic. US soldiers have faced drug charges during anti-narcotics missions.

This isn’t a conspiracy. It’s documented history. 📜

Speaking from the Kremlin ahead of his visit to New Delhi for the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit, Putin pointed out the hypocrisy: the U.S. keeps buying Russian nuclear fuel while pressuring India over oil imports.

His sharp remark? “America buys nuclear energy from us—and then they try to preach.”
