Considering the diverging strategies that members bring to the bloc, it remains to be seen whether BRICS will be able to convert its aspirations into tangible outcomes for the evolving global order.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty reiterated on Sunday, November 23, 2025, his country's full support of India's presidency of the BRICS in 2026, hoping of further economic and financial cooperation among member states.
The top diplomat made the remarks during his meeting with India's External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on the sidelines of G-20 meetings in South Africa.
