The 28-point Theater of the Absurd
“Whatever was the real story behind the 28 pointer … the messy, even infantile “plan” posing as Hegemon in Control and mocking the BRICS/SCO is completely unworkable.”

By Pepe Escobar at the Strategic Culture Foundation.

The Circus Ringmaster’s 28-point “peace plan” for Ukraine may be seen as a pet seal splashing around in a pond to amuse the galleries. And up next, we move...  Read more »

Can Trump bring peace to Gaza?
US president Donald Trump is probably not even aware of John Maynard Keynes’s 1919 book The Economic Consequences of the Peace, which cautioned that the harsh demands imposed on Germany after World War I – with their “unjust and unworkable economic basis” – would destabilise all of Europe.

But Trump’s 20-point Gaza peace plan reflects one of Keynes’s most important insights, embodied by the warning that the “perils of the future lay not in frontiers and sovereignties, but in food, coal, and tra...  Read more »
A necessary change in perspective
All social media and many reliable media are in chaos.  The major issues:

Gen Z riots are breaking out in strange places.

China and Japan.  The discussion in China (formal segment) is whether they should let the diplomatic Wolf Warriors loose again.  I have never seen the Chinese commentary so heated.

There is utter hysteria in the US and western spheres as can be seen with the resignation of Taylor-Greene and Trump’s mocking of all.

– The EU and NATO are fully i...  Read more »

Brian Berletic: Al-Qaeda in the White House and its Implications Far Beyond it
This is Brian’s video accompanying his article on NEO:  https://journal-neo.su/2025/11/18/al-qaeda-in-the-white-house-and-its-implications-far-beyond-it/

This comes with my recommendation.  Brian again talks about the imperial Continuity of Agenda and connects far-flung events, and places these events where they fit in that agenda.  If you think the imperial has given up on anything,...  Read more »
Some peace plans sound promising, until you read the fine print.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8d3AlSDWr_Q

What’s really being offered… and what’s being left out? Who stands to gain, and who’s being asked to surrender twice? This isn’t just diplomacy, this is a high-stakes script, and every word carries weight.

Let’s talk honestly about what’s on the table and whether it leads to peace… or just a pause button on war.

Throwback: CIA's Covert Ops in Tibet – Fueling the 1962 India-China War?

Who would've guessed? The Tibetan "independence movement" wasn't just a sideshow; it served as a key CIA instrument to undermine China and spark broader conflict, including the 1962 Sino-Indian War.

Declassified documents from the 1990s show that the Dalai Lama personally pocketed around $180,000 annually from the CIA, starting in the late 1950s.

💵 The agency funneled about $1.7 million each year to Tibetan separatists, funding militant training, supplies, reconnaissance missions (some launched from Pakistan), and propaganda efforts, all aimed at escalating tensions in the Himalayas.

A new study published in the Journal of Public Affairs argues that these US covert strategies, rather than border disputes, were the real driver behind the 1962 war.
