Louisiana State Police are calling off duty troopers in to work to assist. NOLA Metro Fire Dept has put out mutual aid request from all surrounding FD’s.

Reports on FD scanner they do not have enough ambulances.

The green light is from power transformers exploding. They have a characteristic green light to them caused by the gases used inside them that give them the green hue when they let go. This is one of the most obvious warning signs of a tornado on the ground: green flashes from power transformers.
