We could have easily quarantined the only truly vulnerable populations - those old enough to be beyond retirement age and those with underlying serious comorbidites.
Instead they locked down the entire planet, ground the economy to a halt and caused massive increases in depression, overdoses and a general tearing apart of society into tribalistic factions.
Because that's the result they wanted.

That Executive Session of the BOS yesterday went from 9:30am until about 1:30pm past the subpoena deadline from AZ Senate. Seller's snarky letter, and the response from Dominion were released at around 12:55pm. They hauled Recorder Richer in just past noon. It didn't take them 3.5 hours to write a snarky response, the lawyers had that completed already. That was 3.5 hours of trying to figure out who the weak link is that could break first. Good. Let them sweat.
