I wonder how the handful of sailors complaining about their deployment aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Persian Gulf recently would have handled a deployment in the Pacific, before World War II ended, fighting against the Japanese. Do you know the story of the Essex class carrier USS Franklin? Look it up. Some of the sailors aboard the Lincoln need to harden the fuck up, or get out of the Navy.

Neither of the US Navy sailors in my family who sailed off to war would regard the sailors aboard the Lincoln complaining as fit for their Navy.
