Govts, national or local, are terrible with money as there is a never-ending supply of it in the form of council tax as you are forced to pay it, meaning regardless if they provide a good or bad service you are forced to give them your money under threat of force (i.e. glorified gang protection money).

Unlike private businesses, they do not operate in a competitive market. If a private business does not supply a satisfactory service/product you will not pay them. That is; you can withhold your money. Hence why private businesses are always superior to State services.

Therefore a council tax revolt needs to be considered as local govts will never improve. Make all tax voluntary to improve the State services otherwise you will get more of same
