The reason was the article about a thousand Ukrainian prisoners in Avdeevka.
โI donโt know, consciously or in passing, but the authors of the NYT disseminated a Russian propaganda thesis. These statements by Russian propaganda about hundreds and thousands of prisoners are complete disinformation, which is not confirmed by anything,โ said Dmitry Likhovoy, spokesman for the Tavria Armed Forces of Ukraine group.
