You can even see in the video that this is not the outskirts of an already destroyed settlement.

2️⃣ “The message given today to Israel with this veto is that it can continue to get away with murder,” Palestine’s United Nations envoy Riyad Mansour says.

3️⃣ “We are appalled to hear of this new low in an already deep pit of failures from the international community,” Save the Children’s director for the occupied Palestinian territories Jason Lee says, as the US vetoes the resolution which was supported by 13 of the UNSC’s 15 members.

4️⃣ Stopping World Food Programme (WFP) aid to northern Gaza would be a “death sentence” for 750,000 people, says Gaza’s government’s media office.

5️⃣ Israel is using an AI system known as ‘the Gospel’ to generate “an enormous list of targets” in its war on Gaza, Journalist Sophia Goodfriend reports. “What sources within the [Israeli army] are saying is that this system is really enabling essentially a mass assassination factory,” Goodfriend added.

6️⃣ Irish Foreign Minister Micheal Martin has said the European Union must pressure the Israeli government into not attacking Rafah in southern Gaza. He said Europe “must do everything possible” to prevent Israel’s planned ground offensive in Rafah.

🇿🇦🇮🇱 Pretoria requests ICJ to declare Israel's occupation of Palestine illegal

Vusi Madonsela, South Africa's ambassador to the Netherlands, told the court that Israel has resorted to an extreme form of apartheid in the Palestinian territories, similar to South Africa.

"We as South Africans sense, see, hear, and feel to our core the inhumane discriminatory policies and practices of the Israeli regime as an even more extreme form of the apartheid that was institutionalized against black people in my country," the ambassador said.

Madonsela added that South Africa has a "special obligation" to condemn apartheid wherever it occurs and ensure it is "brought to an immediate end."

The UN International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague is holding hearings on the legal consequences of Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem, from February 19 to 26.

🔹In the #Zaporozhye Direction, Russian troops, supported by long range weapons, conducted assault operations on the western outskirts of #Rabotino village. They also attacked this settlement from #Novoprokopovka. The RF Armed Forces also conducted offensive actions from the direction of #Verbovoye.
📌 Everywhere there was a small ⚠️tactical advance. (Fig. 1)

🔹On the #Donetsk Front, the RF Armed Forces attacked in #Novomikhaylovka and #Georgiyevka after shelling. They also conducted assault operations at #Pervomayskoye. The frontline ⚠️did not change significantly. The Russian assault units managed to ⚠️advance through the forest plantations and reach the village of #Lastochkino.
📌 This village is important in terms of crossing a number of transport arteries. On the approach there is a water barrier in the form of the Durnaya Balka River and a cascade of ponds located in this area.
💥 Ukrainian positions in #Konstantinovka (not to be confused with the town of the same name southwest of Bakhmut), the town of #Krasnogorovka and Nyu-York (#Novgorodskoye) are under fire.
💥 Russian positions in #Maryinka, #Donetsk and the village of #Krasnogorovka. (Fig. 2)

🔹In the #Bakhmut Direction, the RF Armed Forces, supported by long range weapons, conducted offensive operations on the heights northwest of #Kleshcheyevka, near #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye), in the area of #Bogdanovka and #Vyemka. There is a slight ⚠️advance in the latter area. Until recently, there were positional battles there. By and large, in this section is the road to #Seversk.
💥 The AFU is under attack in Chasov Yar, #Vasyukovka and #Razdolovka.

🔹In the #Lugansk Direction, after shelling, Russian troops⚠️ tried to advance near #Belogorovka, #Torskoye and #Terny. There was counter fighting near #Tabayevka.
